Jesus in the Furnace

I wonder whats that like about? I felt like I was inside of a furnace once years and years before.

Are you facing testing and trials and it feels like Jesus is nowhere to be seen? You are not alone. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were facing the threat of being thrown into a furnace so hot that it burned up their guards. When they boldly were telling the king they were willing to be thrown in rather than worship a statue they had no idea that a miracle was about to happen.

But as the furnace door opened some amazing things began to happen. First…they didn’t get burned up! Yay team! Secondly the ropes tying their hands and feet burned off and they started walking around inside the furnace…awesome! But God saved the biggest and best for last…they got to see Jesus!

Yes difficulties and trials loom on our horizon but God has wonderful news for us. When we fall down into our personal flaming furnace we get to meet…

I Did Make A Hat to Match My Warmers

I did decide to make a hat that would match my warmers. I wanted to try a new pattern. So I used the one that was on the label of the most recent Red Heart Yarns I purchased. There was only one hem on the garment of Christ. In fact when the soldiers went to divide his clothing they gambled for His outer garment because it was all on piece. The only hem available for the woman to touch was at the very lowest point of the robe of Jesus Christ. Like this woman in the crowd our own needs may have dominated our focus for years. Friends, family, and even her ability to enter a place or worship all were affected by her need until that day as Jesus was passing by in the crowd. We are not told if she had listened to Jesus’ words herself or if she had simply believed what others had told her about him. What we…
